| Overton Beach Improvements Underway | ||

| of the ramp had revealed a surface of old, deteriorated asphalt. "With water being so low, we knew that some work had to be done to improve the far end of the ramp," said Roxanne Dey, a National Park Service (NPS) spokesperson. "This was a good opportunity to do it." The NPS has contracted with E.H. LLC out of Beaver, Wyoming to complete the project. It is budgeted to cost $736,744 and is being funded by the Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act (SMPLMA). | ||
