| Gubler Avenue Bridge ‘On Time And On Budget’ | |||

| Tim Robison Moapa Valley Progress According to both the Clark County Public Works Department and executives at Wiser Construction, the New Muddy River Bridge at Gubler Avenue and Moapa Valley Boulevard is moving along without any delays. “It has been going along quite smoothly,” said Les Henley, Deputy Director of Clark County Public Works. |

“I wish all the county’s construction projects were moving along as smoothly as the bridge at Gubler Avenue.” Wiser Construction, a local construction company, was one of five companies that bid for the project. Wiser’s was the lowest bid at $4.2 million; the highest bid was $7 million. Wiser officials said that the construction team was trying to keep traffic on the Boulevard, which has been slowed down due to bridge construction, going as smoothly as possible. “Wiser has been a good contractor for the County,” Henley said. “They do good work and they get it done on time.” | |||
