The east wall of Moapa Valley High School was attacked by vandals wielding spray paint on Sunday, February 17, at approximately 5:30 p.m.
It took place during a baseball tournament at the Moapa Valley High School as a car pulled up into the parking lot of the high school at which time four individuals got out of the car and sprayed graffiti over approximately 15 feet of the wall on the east side of the high school.
Video surveillance captured the vehicle and individuals and has been sent to Metro’s crime lab for enhancement. The graffiti was quickly sand-blasted off the wall by Clark County School District staff.
Metro’s gang detail unit has been contacted and is currently assisting in the investigation of the crime.
The entire student body of MVHS was shown the surveillance video of the vehicle in hopes that it can be identified more quickly. All leads are currently being followed up by Metro.
The High School is offering a $100 reward for anyone offering information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects.
If you have information on this crime please contact local Metro at 397-2669.
