| MV Art Guild To Sponsor Watercolor Workshop | ||

| Moapa Valley Progress Submitted March 5, 2008 The Moapa Valley Art Guild is pleased to sponsor a workshop to be given by Charlotte Lang, one of the most notable and popular local artist-teachers. Called “1,2,3, Go - Landscapes,” this watercolor workshop will be held on Thursday, March 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Art Room at the Old Logandale School, 3011 N. Moapa Valley Blvd. in Logandale. Charlotte will be sure to present tips and techniques of interest to watercolorists of all levels of experience and ability. If you would like to attend, please call Guild President Flo Lund at 865-2808 to sign up. The cost to members of the Moapa Valley Art Guild for this workshop is $25 for the day. For non-members, the cost is $30. Those interested in developing their skills and in helping to promote the visual arts in the community are cordially invited to join the Moapa Valley Art Guild. “We welcome talented craftspeople as well as painters and potters, and have a number from each category in our membership,” said Lund. “This year we are celebrating our 50th Anniversary. Join and help us celebrate!” |
