| New Store Opens Doors In Logandale | ||

| Rachel Brandes Moapa Valley Progress Submitted Mar. 5, 2008 The giraffe out front is right! Now open for business is the Second Time Around consignment store in Logandale. What used to be Rik’s Auto Parts is now a store filled with a wide variety of items. Desiree and Nicole Temple opened their doors to the public on Tuesday, February 26. Desiree and her daughter Nicole along with Max Maserang have been getting the store ready to open the store for some time now. Mom and daughter have always worked together and are excited to continue. |

As of now, the store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The store was busy over its first few days. Approximately 160 people came in on the first day of business, Nicole said. Right now everything in the store is brand new. “We are still waiting on our consignment license to come through,” said Desiree. Items in the store include candles, shelving units, tables, chairs, statues, rugs couches, dressers, lamps, bed frames, decorative pillows, wine racks, rocking chairs, vases, mirrors and much more. | ||

“We have started a wish list already,” said Nicole. The ladies are making a list of what customers want and say they will do their best to locate these items to keep customers shopping in Logandale. “We list all prices as low as possible for the customer,” said Desiree. “We really want to keep the prices Logandale prices.” Part-time employee Rhonda Pulsipher is also working her magic at the store. “Rhonda is a wonderful addition to the team,” said Desiree. “She has a wonderful decorating eye and is a great people person.” | |

“The community seems to be enjoying having an additional place to shop,” stated Desiree. She points out that last week’s opening is only a soft opening for the Second Time Around Consignment store. “Once our consignment license comes in we will have a big grand opening,” she said. At that time there will be a much larger selection of items to shop for in this wonderful new addition to the Moapa Valley. | ||
