The Moapa Valley Arts Council is excited to bring the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) back to Moapa Valley. The MCT will be bringing a performance of ‘The Little Mermaid’ to the local stage with local youth performers.

given parts in the upcoming play. Rehearsals are going on this week. The play will take place on Saturday, March 8 in the Mack Lyon Middle School auditorium. Performances will take place at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The MCT is an organization that uses an entertainment format to foster enrichment and education in children of all ages.

In just a three month period, the MCT will be performing with local children in ten different locations and staging four different plays. Traveling from town to town keeps the MCT busy, staying with generous host families and working hard in just a few days time to teach a large group of children their lines.

Nevertheless, they seem to pull off a great show each year. The children are excited to perform and the parents are excited to watch. Come out on Saturday and enjoy the young local talent of Moapa Valley.

Tickets for the upcoming show are $5 for adults, $3 for children and $15 for families. For tickets or more information you can contact The Moapa Valley Arts Council by calling Robin Maughan at 398-3665 or purchase them at Decor & More in downtown Overton.
