Officer Nate Bradford has recently joined the Overton Resident Section of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and is now patrolling Moapa Valley on the graveyard shift. That’s right Moapa Valley, local Metro now has 24/7 coverage.

Officer Bradford resides in Overton with his wife Nadja and their three children. Bradford grew up in Louisiana and has been a resident of Nevada for the past nine years. Bradford has been serving on the LVMPD for the past seven years.

“I was always interested in being a police officer,” states
Bradford. Once out of the academy, he served as a patrol officer for three years in West Las Vegas moving to the mounted unit for the past four years. Bradford has had a smooth career thus far with no speed bumps to mention.

Working on the mounted unit, Bradford has worked all over Clark County. Bradford has even worked several New Years Eve celebrations on the strip helping keep party-goers safe. Patrolling the graveyard shift does keep Bradford busy. “I like to drive through neighborhoods and around local businesses and make sure things look right,” he said.

Bradford is happy to finally be working in his home town and was excited to get the news. In his spare time he enjoys camping, gardening and of course spending time with his wife and kids.
