Submitted Mar. 19, 2008

Ute V. Perkins Elementary School is now red with pride every Friday. Thanks to the generosity of local business owners and individuals, the students, faculty members, staff members, and administrators were all provided with red t-shirts to wear to show their pride.

Perkins Elementary students proudly wear their new red shirts to show school spirit.
“We are proud of our students and the t-shirts are a special way for the PTA to demonstrate our love, pride, and respect for all at Ute V. Perkins Elementary School.” states PTA President Shari Lyman.

Thanks to Lewis Construction, Eagle View Contractors, Moapa Valley Water District, Moapa Valley Telephone Company, Stage Coach Depot, Kurt and Sara Leavitt, Rachel Wright, and the Lymans; Bob, Shari and Odin, this great gift to Perkins was possible.

Students will not only wear their shirts on Fridays, but also on field trips, school activities and during community events. Patriot Pride is what it is all about. Keep your eye out at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo, you will seem them there too.

Thanks to the Perkins PTA, particularly the t-shirt committee which consists of Aimee Potts, Racqual Leavitt, Tara Wolfley, Amber Munns, Mrs. Morgan, Mrs. Leete, Mr. Paul, and Rachel Wright.
