The Pirate Motion Dancers held the annual Revue on Monday, March 10 at the Moapa Valley High School Gymnasium to a sold out crowd. For another year standing room only was the scene as the Revue got kicked off.

Several dances were performed with a change of outfit for each. Pirate Motion dancers started the night off with a dance to “Ever Ever After” choreographed by Austrie Messer.
Younger girls from the recent dance camp performed in between Pirate Motion routines.
Other Pirate Motion dances were performed to songs including “Gonna Give It To You” a pom dance choreographed by Betty Sendlein; “It Only Hurts When I Breathe” a jazz dance choreographed by last years captain Kylee Askeroth; “Born to Lead” choreographed by Taylor Halstead; “Music in Me” a kick line dance choreographed by Austrie Messer; “Don’t Ya” a jazz/hip hop dance choreographed by Olivia Dominguez; “Upside Down” a pom dance choreographed by UNLV Dance Team; and “When I Move” a hip hop dance choreographed by Brandi Waite and Olivia Dominguez.
Additional performances, the Senior Lyrical were performed to “I Stand” choreographed by Stephanie Dalley and Michaela Coburn and the Captain Dance to “I Am Ready” choreographed by Betty Sendlein and Brandi Waite.
The Mack Lyon Middle School Dance Team also performed for the crowd to “I Need A Hero”. And who could forget the Boy Motion Dancers with a dance to “Chicken Noodle Soup”.
The timeless Debonettes performed a classy number to “It Had To Be You” choreographed by Audrey Johnson.
A video presentation was shown highlighting fun times the girls have had throughout the year. This gave the girls time to get into their formal wear for the traditional Waltz. Dancing to “So Close” choreographed by Holly Garlick and Betty Sendlein.
Following the Waltz, awards were given. Most Spirited went to Austrie Messer, Most Improved went to Holly Garlick, Best Choreographer went to Brandi Waite and Olivia Dominguez, the Ms. Deb Award went to Brandi Waite, and the Dancer of the Year went to Betty Sendlein.
An additional award was given in the way of a $500 scholarship awarded to Betty Sendlein. This scholarship was donated by Jody Doty and Toni Halstead of Moapa Valley Tax Planning.
