Criminal Court was held on Wednesday, March 26 at the Moapa Valley Justice Court in Overton, Nevada. Defendant-Christopher R. Rawlings Unregistered Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Evading Police Officer. - Pled guilty, ordered to pay fines totaling $1280.00. Status check scheduled for June calendar. Defendant - Kode G. Rushing Charges - Burglary, Malicious Destruction of Private Property. Pled guilty to Misdemeanor Malicious Destruction of Private Property. Ordered to pay restitution totaling $2,500 with three juvenile co-defendants in case. Sentenced to 60 days in the Clark County Detention Center to be held in abeyance for one year in which defendant must stay out of trouble. 50 hours community service. Status check scheduled for May calendar. Defendant - Brian M. Novads Charges - Burglary, Grand Larceny Firearm, Possession of Stolen Property. Pled guilty to Misdemeanor Petit Larceny and Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Property. Ordered 40 hours community service, attend and complete Impulse Control class, $1200 in fines, personally apologize to victim, after apology not to enter victim establishment for one year, 6 month suspended sentence on each charge to be held in abeyance for one year in which time defendant must stay out of trouble. Status check scheduled for June calendar. Defendant - Jesse Stevens Charge - Malicious Destruction of Private Property. Pled guilty to Misdemeanor Malicious Destruction of Private Property. Ordered to pay $479 in restitution and $500 in fines, 60 day suspended sentence in which time defendant must stay out of trouble to be held in abeyance for one year. Status check scheduled for May calendar. Defendant - Cody Frawley Charge - Battery Domestic Violence. Pled guilty to Misdemeanor Battery Domestic Violence. Ordered to complete 26 weeks of domestic violence counseling, 80 hours community service, pay $750 in fines, 60 day suspended sentence in which defendant must stay out of trouble to be held in abeyance for one year. Status check scheduled for May calendar. Defendant - Amy M. Madewell Charge - Battery Domestic Violence. Submittal entered for Battery Domestic Violence. Defendant has completed 75 hour course which covers impulse control. Defendant must stay out of trouble and continue counseling. Status check scheduled for September calendar. Defendant - Cody Ohara Charges - Burglary, Battery with Substantial Bodily Harm, Malicious Destruction of Private Property. Pled guilty to Simple Battery. Ordered 75 hours community service, attend and complete Impulse Control Counseling, pay $1000 in fines, pay $1087.10 in restitution, 6 months in the Clark County Detention Center to be held in abeyance for one year in which defendant must stay out of trouble. Warrant was issued for arrest with cash only bail set at $1500. Defendant - Charles E. Bartlett Charge - Petit Larceny. Defendant failed to appear in court. Warrant was issued for arrest with cash only bail set at $1000. Defendant - Chandlin Harrison Charge - Possession of Controlled Substance. Defendant failed to appear in court. Warrant was issued for arrest with cash only bail set at $5000. Defendant - Richard Pena Charge - Disturbing the Peace.
