Lyon Locomotion Holds Dance Revue

	year. Lyon Locomotion had a busy year, dancing for football games, basketball games and all pep assemblies. Brammer will be stepping down next year and Sara Leavitt will be taking over the team. “I have enjoyed hanging out with the girls this year.” stated Brammer. For the Revue the girls performed several different numbers to large applause. The girls had taught a Boy Motion team a dance which was performed to many laughs. The boys only had three days of practice but did a great job. Brammer recognized her two team captains, seventh grader Aubrey Benson and eighth grader Sarah Turner. “They have helped me so much and have excelled in their dancing ability, I am very thankful to my captains.” said Brammer. The three eighth grade dancers performed an 8th grade dance which they choreographed themselves. Sarah Turner, Kaylee Barlow and Pamela Mecham will be heading to high school next year and trying out for the Pirate Motion. “These girls have been a great example to the younger girls.” said Brammer. A slide show of the girls year was shown and fun awards were given to all. Michelle Jones and Tracy Rodgers were acknowledged for their help with the team and received flowers for their efforts. Incoming coach Sara Leavitt was introduced with an all together yell from the girls “We love you Sara”. Team manager Sydney Widdison was also recognized for all of her hard work. Seventh grade dancers include Shealyn Belcher, Aubrey Benson, Janelle Chalfant, Ashley Henson, Alex Jones, Delacy Peterson, Danielle Pray, Skyler Simmons, Sydney Widdison, and Ashley Winnefeld. Sixth grade dancers include Shannen Cooper, Ansley Cox, Abbey Henson, and Karla Villezcas.
