Mutton Bustin’ is back at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo by popular demand. That’s right, kids ages 5 to 7 weighing less than 60 pounds have the opportunity to be a Rodeo star! Each day of the Fair, contestants will attempt to ride on the back of a sheep for six seconds. Kids are provided with protective head give and given assistance from event organizers. One parent is also allowed to assist the child.

Mutton Bustin’ at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo is back! A young competitor at the 2007 CC Fair and Rodeo holds on for dear life.
Contestants will participate in a qualifying round each day and the best riders will come back later that day to compete in the Championship Round. The Championship Rounds are held each night one hour prior to the start of the Rodeo.

Contestants must pre-register by submitting an application. There is a $15 entry fee. The entry fees collected each day will be added to the purse and paid to the contestants on a pro-rated split.

Winners will receive a Montana Silversmith Belt Buckle and all contestants will receive a t-shirt for their efforts.
