| Moapa Valley Progress Submitted Aprl 23, 2008 Emergency, you need help! Whether it is a fire or medical problem, you call 911. People show up, volunteers from your community. These volunteers rush to the scene, take care of the problem and are gone. Later, after you’re calmed down, you think, “I didn’t even have time to say thanks!” Now it is your chance. Say thanks now by sending a personal “Thanks” to those who showed up when you, your family or a friend |

needed them. Sponsor a “Moapa Fire District” shirt for a volunteer for only $25. Each sponsor can fill out a note about how they were helped by local volunteers. The note will be attached to a shirt and given to each member of the Moapa, Logandale, and Overton Fire Stations. The Moapa Valley Rotary and the Mesquite Resort Association (MRA) are sponsoring a “Thank You Firefighters & EMT’s” event. Rotary and MRA will be providing a luncheon for the volunteers. It will be during this event that the shirts will be presented to the volunteers. To sponsor a shirt you can contact any Rotarian or visit Coldwell Banker Realty, Keller Williams Realty, Graphx, or either Farmers Insurance Agency in Moapa Valley. Thank you for your support! |
