On hand were representatives from the Rural Nevada Development Corporation (RNDC), Microenterprise Intiative, Nevada State Development Corporation, USDA Rural Development, the U.S. Small Business Administration and SCORE.

About thirty people were in attendance at the Symposium. Chamber of Commerce Board Members were pleased with the participation. “I was very happy with the turnout,” said Board Member, Mike Qualheim who coordinated the event. “I think that it indicates just what a need there is in this community for these types of services.”

The Symposium was presented by the Rural Nevada Development Corporation in coordination with the Microenterprise Initiative. It was sponsored by Citibank.
