| Moapa Valley Progress The Moapa Valley Town Advisory Board will meet on tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Overton Community Center. In General Business the Board will hear an item regarding Bunkerville Town boundaries and changes to the Moapa/Moapa Valley boundary lines. They will also hear a report from the Incorporation ad-hoc Committee regarding the facts and figures accumulated on the incorporation effort. The Board will also hear an item regarding the TAB recruitment/appointment process (to include Citizens voting at large or only in their district, redistricting to evenly distribute population amongst the five districts, need for districts, policy on determining where candidate lives, and any other issues that are relevant regarding the straw poll voting process). The Board will hear a zoning request from Gregory and Amy Mills for a Zone Change to reclassify 2.2 acres from R-U (Rural Open Land) Zone to R-E (Rural Estates Residential) Zone for a single family residential subdivision generally located 435 feet east of Mills Street, 750 feet south of Wells Avenue. Another zoning request will be heard from Timothy Twelker for a Use Permit to allow accessory structures prior to construction of the principal structure on 1.9 acres generall located on the east side of Mateuse Street, 500 feet south of Paul Avenue. |
