Defendant - Juvenile: Charge - Tampering with a vehicle.
Defendant originally appeared in Juvenile Court on May calendar at which time she entered a not guilty plea. A contested hearing was set for the July calendar. Defendant appeared in court on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 with attorney entering a plea of no contest. The defendant was placed on a 3 month consent decree and ordered the following: to pay 1/2 restitution of actual damages to vehicle, 24 hours community service, no contact with victim, victims family, co-defendant, or any others involved when incident occurred, letter of apology must be submitted to Probation Officer, and during consent decree defendant must either be attending school or holding a job. Status check was set for September calendar.
