Converging Rivers
Overlooking the current point of convergence of the Muddy and Virgin Rivers on what was the Overton Arm of Lake Mead. Virgin Peak can be seen in the distance. Low Lake levels have made this point of convergence visible where, not too long ago, it was underwater. In the eighth year of regional drought, the Lake water level is currently at an elevation of around 1104 ft. This is the lowest level the Lake has seen since April 1965.
