| Logandale PO Box Changes Discussed | ||

| by Vernon Robison Moapa Valley Progress A public meeting was held last week by United States Postal Service (USPS) officials to discuss major changes which are being proposed for mail delivery at the Logandale Post Office. The meeting was held on Wednesday, September 24 in the Fine Arts Building at the Logandale Fairgrounds. The USPS is proposing to change the box numbers of all its Logandale postal customers. Shelley Berkley (D-Nev) introduced a bill in Congress on Friday, September 26, to designate nearly a half-million acres of federal land in Northeast Clark County as wilderness or with other federal restrictions. The bill would create a National Conservation Area for 362,177 acres, more than 565 square miles, for the Gold Butte region.
