Last week, the Moapa Valley High School Volleyball team matched up against two Southern 3A teams for week two of Southern 3A volleyball. The Lady Pirates faced off against two longtime foes, the Virgin Valley Lady Bulldogs and the Faith Lutheran Lady Crusaders. Each match was a charged with emotion as the struggle for supremacy in the Southern 3A continues.

That's right folks, there is a competitive gymnastics team comprised of girls from right here in Moapa Valley. The team consists of 17 girls ranging in age from grades 2-6. One of the girls travels from Mesquite three days a week to be a part of the team. These girls are the Flex It Gymnastics Team.
The Flex It Gym is located in Logandale on the property of Robert and Jennifer Evans. Each week this gym has approximately 120 kids that come through for recreational gymnastics lessons as well as the competitive team practices. The Gym is full of kids five days a week giving...
