Veterans Day Parade and Picnic November 11, 2009 in Downtown Overton. The whole community comes out to celebrate its veterans in the parade beginning at 9:00 a.m. A community picnic sponsored by the Moapa Valley Chamber of Commerce follows the parade at the Overton Park.
