PUBLIC NOTICE
The Southern Nevada District Board of Health will conduct a PUBLIC
HEARING on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 8:00 a.m., during its
regular monthly meeting in the Clemens Room at the Southern Nevada
Health District Ravenholt Public Health Center, 625 Shadow Lane, Las
Vegas, Nevada to consider approval of requirements for equipment
and operation of high risk annually permitted itinerant temporary food
service permits and accompanying fees.
A high risk annually permitted itinerant temporary food permit is
defined in the four-page Draft Food Establishment Plan Review Requirements
for Equipment and Operation of High Risk Annually Permitted
Itinerant Temporary Food Service Permits with related Nevada
Revised Statues references and a proposed one-page Fee Schedule
are available for review at the Southern Nevada Health District Ravenholt
Public Health Center, Wing 1, Environmental Health Division, 625
Shadow Lane, Las Vegas, Nevada during normal business hours of
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; copies of documents may be requested during
that time. The same may be viewed on the Southern Nevada Health
District’s website (southernnevadahealthdistrict.org /public_ notices.
htm) or received by mail, fax or email upon request to Beth Fitzgerald
at (702) 759-0589 and fitzgerald@snhdmail.org. If there are special
viewing needs, call Beth Fitzgerald for assistance.
Interested persons may appear at the PUBLIC HEARING and present
their views thereon. Written comments and data to include the fee
impact on businesses will also be considered by the Southern Nevada
Health District Board of Health and must be forwarded to Glenn D.

11, 2008.

Prior to the above PUBLIC HEARING at the Board of Health Meeting
on August 28, 2008, there will be three WORKSHOPS for the
public to present its views on the proposed Environmental Health
Division requirements and operation of high risk annually permitted
itinerant temporary food service permits and fees to include
the fee impact on businesses:
1. July 29, 2008, Tuesday, 9:00 a.m., at the Southern Nevada Health
District Ravenholt Public Health Center, Clemens Room, 625 Shadow
Lane, Las Vegas.
2. August 5, 2008, Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at the Regional Government
Center, Rooms 1 and 2, 101 Civic Way, Laughlin
3. August 7, 2008, Thursday, 2:30 a.m., at the Mesquite City Hall, Anasazi
Room, first floor, 10 East Mesquite Blvd, Mesquite
